NWR Railway Bharti 2017 – How to Apply Online – NW Railway Eligibility – Northwestern railway was established and has been established on 1st October 2002 and was carved out of 2 segments each from northern and western railways. The configuration of this zone along with five other new zones was first permitted by railway board on 16 th September and foundation stone for this northern zone has been laid on 17 October 1996 and the impetus of for form, gauge action came with the government of India and was decided that north-western railway with its jurisdiction over existing Ajmer and Jaipur segments of western railway and jodhpur and Bikaner segments of northern railway was to approach into effect from 1 October 2002. This division has a total number of 144 stations and has 92 trains in inward as well as outward directions. Ajmer division extends over the states of Rajasthan and Gujarat and is predominately a cement loading division as many cement plants are located here. This division has in all 130 stations and 36 number of trains both the passenger and mail or EXP category. Currently, there are twelve computerized passengers reservation system centers performing over this division and one location I waiting commissioning and wit it proposals of three more locations have been sent. This division has 9046 staff strength in all.
